New Asia Bar and New Faces
So far, life's looking good at the new environment :)
When weekend approached, Clarence Dear took me to the New Asia Bar with Pei Jie and Tze Kai. We had lots of laughs over games and gossips.
The astonishing view from 69th storey. New Asia Bar at Raffles City.
Carlton hotel in the middle. And cars or vehicles that resembled toy cars from looking above :)
My all time preferred beer. Its light and not too gas-y. But Kai doesnt fancy it as he thought its too light for him to get high. Lol..Chips were free and they were running on free flow. Spicy and crispy :)
The pizza we had was Bbq chicken sausage. I would say it has earned better ratings than Timbre's. Try it if you have not. You cant miss the pizzas out.
Nightview of Dhoby Ghaut, City hall and Orchard Road. I would suggest you come as early as 7pm during weekends to grab a good seat. If not, you will be sitting far from the nice views.
I love my weekends with Sunday ended off with swimming and sermons. I hope the coming week is a good one! And I really miss my holidays now!!.. How I wish to pack my bags and fly to Hong Kong now... Aww..

Sunshine After The Rain
Hmm, I think its really been some time I have smiled so widely.
With things getting more organised now, I am looking forward to my Hong Kong trip with a more excited heart and wild imaginations filling up with fun. Haha...
The best gift from Father God is I can start my very first tithing! Its really a gift if you could understand my situation well. Thank you Lord! My mediator and bringing angels to me. If it was not You who has been staying in my heart, giving me endless encouragement, I didnt know how I have this breakthrough.
Peeps, whereever you are, no matter the difficulties you are facing now, lift yourself up and do not look at the devil who is always around to make you doubt your capability.
Try to tell yourself, the first step of this battle is to chase away the demon in your heart. And start doing things to gain that peace. I find that exercising is another form to sweat out the stress. Swimming is the best! Or you can try to pray like me. :) Someone will hear it!
Cheers!

Glimpse of Light breaking through the thick clouds
After Dear started working at CB, there was a tremendous decrease in meeting ups as compared to before. Yes, the work we had before was flexible and we can plan to match each other's schedule. However with things going not flexible now, and if I got a job with shift work, I am worried how we can accomodate to the different timings we might have. But sometimes in life, I dont know to label it as unfair or unbalanced. Its difficult to strike a balance between all things, especially, family, love, career and lastly friends. Sigh... But if I dont make a move now, how can I take care of my parents and start a family in the next few years? And even, live comfortably? Sacrifices have to be made somewhere, for a better future I guess?
But above all things, I still want to build on my trust that in the House of Lord, He will provide and prosper us.
I miss you...and I will miss you hard if I start work...

Remember that fateful heavy rain at ECP the other day? Like the picture, we will brave through the rainstorm ahead of us if there is any.
Goodnight peeps!

For his Graduation 2010

Clarence grinned from ear to ear after he unwrapped the gift box.
The card made from his cousins. Minjie, Tze Wei, Tze Kai, Xiao Jie and Peijie. Signed off with his beloved aunties and uncles too.
I like the chosen slogan at the back of the card.
Proudly chosen by MJ on behalf of the beloveds.
At the ceremony with PeiJie. Thanks for driving me to the ceremony!
Throwing the mortar hats with his studygroup buddies.
Upon seeing this scene, Yup, finally the boy has grown up. HAHAHA... There are actually more photos to be presented. But its currently with Li PeiJie's Olympus Pen 2. Proud and happy owner of the world's smallest SLR.
Congrats Clarence Dear. Finally a graduate and I hope all things will run well for you always.

As I begin to feel lost...
As I walked into devastation, I heard a voice within saying," Stop that Huixian. Stop thinking like this. Talk to me then." I think its Father Lord trying to reach out for me. Immediately, I reminded myself, ya, when all humans fail, I still have Him, Father Lord to talk to. He is the only one that is unchanging, since the past, present and in the future. He is always the same!
"Father, I have been out of job for quite a long time. With an upcoming trip nearing, my job hunting chances are lowered. With no outstanding background in my resume, my chances are lowered even further. However, I know you are always there. There for me. I dont know what lies ahead of me. But you have declared its good. For you have went ahead for me. I know your plans are to prosper me. And all negativities are just devil's tricks to pull me down, creating a distance between you and me. But your promise to me is this: “Instead of your shame you shall have double honor”. God wants to give me a double-portion blessing for every trouble I go through! I thank you for that! For reminding me to read the Daily Devotional on NCC's website. It has renewed my faith and I know I am at a higher place. Thank you Lord!"

Happy National Day to Singapore!
And we got David to share the happiness with us along with his newly bought toy. Sony DSLR that costs around $2000 plus in total! Catch the fine photos we got!
Smile Singapore!
Coutesy Lion on action!
Clarence and David, the busy photographer of the night :)

Choir members from eight different secondary schools.
This is how far you can go with a good DSLR camera. And of course, the knowledge equipped to use it.
Rise to welcome Senior Ministers, Mr Goh Cheok Tong and Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
NDP 2010 was really fun without staying at home to watch the performance. Its really different with experiencing the F 16s flying past above you and colorful blasting of fireworks right before your eyes.
I have witnessed how DSLR can bring fun in photography. But its really an investment for such a hobby and also, its real heavy. My decision still stands with buying a digital camera first before anything else. I am into Lomography now too. I love streets and alleys shots. I wana learn and get a lomo camera soon!

The New Paper Big Walk

And that was me. Like this pic, kind of cool. At least MJ laughed. That was the first time he saw me with such a pose.

The walk wasnt as interesting as I have thought. The goodie bag wasnt that fastastic too. And for the first time we had Burger King breakfast. After the first munch? We still miss Mac Donalds..
Afterwhich we caught "Despicable Me" by Universal Studios. Nice movie that has a better plot than "Toy Story 3". Both are touching but at least "Des" made me watered my eyes. :)
I am looking forward to Thursday's gathering with my Uni friends! oh, and thats tomorrow! Cant wait.. :D
