The world deserted me last night, the night was at it's darkest hour. But I know it implies dawn will b breaking soon. Only God has not forsaken me.
He never sleeps n watch over me 24 hours.

A lost but used to be familiar person

While I m on the bus to my best friend's n visit his new doggie, Fluffy. I received a message as follows:
"Hi Hui Shien, this is Yi Xuan, you cousin. How have u been? R u still in contact with ling na?"
For a moment, before I digest the info, I thought I only have cousins from dear dear's side. So who is this?
Oh well, and I realized she really belong to me, my cousin. We used to play together. But it's been around 5-10 yrs no news from her.. So why message me?
Cousins... They say cousins are usually your first friends... So?

We are the p3mt from SIM-RMIT. Well just if u do not know, I was the one that propose p3=perfect 3, deriving from S.H.E. And MT stands for MuTou coming from Andrew for Joyce. Not that Chun, Andrew n me were very intelligent people. But Joyce was a little slow when it comes to catching jokes n hidden meanings. :D lol...
On the 20th apr, Drew proposed an ad hoc meet up instead of arranging for months due to our 4 ppl's busy schedule. Chun n Joyce are in marketing field n they are always overwhelmed by events n projects. Which implies, OT n OT n OT.

Missing them already!... I miss my extravagant life in Uni more!.. :)
When u grow up, u grow out of the teenage freedom as well. Nvm, let's hope the future is looking great for all of us!

Once upon a time

I have friends who posed a question to me not too long ago. They ask me what are my dreams and goals?

I paused for a moment and replied " actually my dreams have died long ago"

I cannot define when was that, and true enough, I don't even dare to have the biggest dream now. In a way, somewhere at a little corner of my heart, I do feel empty because hopes of my dreams were gone. I think hopes relates to positivity n happiness? Because in a way, I will tend to look forward to the dreams I want but now...
As reality sits in and conquered most of my heart, I no longer knows how to dream n imagine the taste of it. I lost the most beautiful thing actually.
If u can't understand what I mean, it's ok. Bottom line is reality n dream, they can't co-exist.

So much for a once upon a time

After so many years of sharing birthday cake with Kor

Yes, after so many years of sharing a birthday cake with my elder bro, I came home to a little surprise by my lovely mum. She bought me a little cake and made red eggs for my lunar birthday. She also left a note saying sorry that it's small but it's her sincerity and wish me happiness. So touched that this melted my heart!

Do you know how many years I have been sharing cake with my bro just because our big days are at 7 days apart? I think other than my 1st, 18th and 21st, all the rest are shared and cake cutting on my bro's birthday! I have never felt the cakeS belong to me. But this year is different! :)

Day 6 of Chinese New Year! What have you done?

Hello there! Its Day 6 of Lunar New Year. What have you been doing?

This day, I practically did nothing much but just managed to accompany my parents to have both lunch and dinner at home :) Rare chance I will have.
This afternoon, I also did something meaningful that helps to build my body. An afternoon swim! And, I did it alone. Wahaha.. I had a non stop 5 laps of swim and I am defintely going to hit the pool again more frequently. I wana aim for 10 laps the next time!

Right on my Chinese New Year 2012, I arranged this myself ! Looks pro huh? haha.. with reference from a newpaper cutting. :P

The whole family was getting ready for steamboat.

And we realised we forgot to buy gas tank... So we had to use the electric operated. It was SUPER SLOWWWW... we waited and waited for the soup to boil.. Oh well, but it was a sumptuous dinner!

This year, we had 2 large cans of Tiger beers to stir up the heat. Mum allowed us. :)

Did this for Wee Wee. He likes the little boy decoration I bought. He said "The more I look at him, the more he makes me wana smile."

And Chinese New Year Day1, Mum's usual: Frying the carrot cake as breakfast for us. Yummy!

White and salty for this year. I still gobbled the pieces down! :P

And Day 2, Wee Wee came with us for outing! Woo Hoo... So long we have did this as a four.

We went to visit an exhibition. "A Moving Masterpiece" Initially, I thought Mummy will not welcome the idea as she doesnt have a flair for history. Amazingly, she quite like the whole exhibition. She "Oh the painting that moves, quite interesting.." Like a wise... hehe..

Before you enter the exhibtition hall, you have to hang this little headphone player over your neck and plays it section by section when you reach every new exhibit. Look at my parents, so cool ya? They knew what to do and how to play it! So cute la they.. haha..

We ended our Day 2 with an English Movie, "Journey 2, The Mysterious Island" Wow, my parents actually do not mind. This year is full of surprises and I hope my family is always happy :)

Happily, I wrapped her present and wrote her a card. :)
I got her a gift that has been on her wishlist for too long. 2 yrs she mentioned. Oh well, time to fulfill that!
